There is so much life all across this vast planet we call home. And when we share it well with the animals their abundance is our joy. We've lost sight of what it means to be but another species in this wide world. Humans are driving the 6th mass extinction after all. Usually we treat land and other natural resources like they are ours for the taking. But when I journey to the shores of Oregon, my hopes for us are bolstered. There we still coexist with the wildlife. Laws, culture & the terrain itself have made it so. It is a place with little to no development along the shore & thus a wild haven for so many incredible animals, not to mention a source of rugged natural beauty.

In short, it's a place where their abundance is our joy.
