Sunset, San Clemente Pier, Southern California
Day fades to night at San Clemente Pier, in Orange County, CA. After months of living in desert regions, I finally arrived on the SoCal coast. To go from bleak, dusty, rocky terrain to the majesty of the Pacific Ocean is an indescribably powerful. I soaked it all in. This wonderful beach helped me to recharge. The salt air, gentle waves and magnificent sunsets brought me back to life! I submerged myself in the cool, churning waves and rinsed the desert dust and grim from my body. Then I lay on a towel in the warm sunshine, clean and revitalized.
Do you ever go to the ocean for such relief? Do you feel that siren song pulling you to the sand, the waves, and the expansive horizon? Are you a fan or piers, like I am?
