Luck was on my side as high tide coincided with the blue hour making for a stunning scene at El Matador Beach. I slowed the shutter ever so little to get movement in the waves. Thru trial and error I chose 1/15 as the shutter speed. I felt it best expressed the power of these waves in this specific scene. This sea cave is actually within a free standing sea stack. The waves have pushed thru the sea stack eroding away multiple caves and passages at water level. It has become a popular spot for landscape photographers. I met a few of my tripod comrades that night.
