Sunset In The Sonoran Desert #1, AZ
In the winter I like to be where it is warm. The Sonoran Desert in Arizona is one of the warmest parts of the country. There is also a ton of public lands where one can camp for free. Me and some other nomads were parked a short ways from this spot, enjoying a campfire chat, shooting the shit. It is a rare to see lots of clouds in this arid region. The sky is typically cloudless and the sunsets rather hum drum. But on this evening the clouds were dense and textured, so I set up my tripod and awaited the colorful transition at the end of the day.
